Hospitals and e-cigarettes

For some doctors, smoking is their only means of stress release. The pressures of the job require them to de-stress in this unhealthy manner. Electronic cigarettes can assist in this manner, as the dangers of smoking can now be completely avoided. Smoking is of course, destined to remain one of the world’s most popular methods of relaxing. Politicians and other government officials carry on in a bitter war to emphasise the negative connotations associated with e-cigarettes. E-cigs allow anyone to smoke, anywhere and at anytime. A doctor could now, for example accomplish more work, as they could smoke before a major surgery, or even in the hallways during their midnight swing shift. This is not an ideal method of stress relief, but it is at least one less irritant to worry about.
Many anti-smoking groups have actively lobbied the use of e-cigarettes and stated this in multiple press releases, campaigns and much more. The doctors who smoke these amazing gadgets are the very same medical professionals who run the tests, proving that there is little harm in ‘smoking’ these devices.
Another report, this time from the CDC has stated that roughly one fifth of the world’s population is addicted to cigarettes. This may increase to one quarter in the next three to five years. This shocking statistic, as well as the combined effects of the thousands of chemicals that cause premature death should be enough for anyone to find a safe way to stop smoking.
Finally, the only true opposing forces to electronic cigarettes are the massive government organisations and politicians who lobby actively against them. It is no mystery; the tobacco companies are wealthy and can afford to line the pockets of any politician who can sway votes towards their favours. The price of cigarettes is heavily taxed; this is supposedly to pay for hospital fees and other expenses that are funnelled towards the treatment of smokers. Very little of this tax is actually used in reality. E-cigarettes cannot be proved to be unhealthy, so they must be taxed like normal products. Stick with the best and safest option to release yourself from the hidden minefield of political meddling – swop over to electric cigarettes.
